ANNAPOLIS, MD (Friday, January 8, 2010) -- Drexel goaltender Dan Pyne stopped all 38 shots he faced and the Dragons got goals from four different players en route to a 4-0 blanking of Navy's ice hockey team Friday night at the McMullen Hockey Arena in the Brigade Sports Complex.
 
With the loss, the Midshipmen fell to 7-14-2 overall and 0-10-1 in the Eastern States Collegiate Hockey League (ESCHL), while the Dragons improved to 7-14-0 overall and 1-11-0 in the ESCHL.
 
The same two teams will square off again Saturday night at 8 p.m. at the Class of '23 rink in downtown Philadelphia.
 
Drexel scored a pair of goals late in the first period, at 16:25 and 41 seconds later at 17:06, to take a 2-0 first period lead.  The Dragons added single tallies in each of the next two periods to close out the scoring.
 
Navy netminder Jameson Marshall was credited with 31 saves, as the Midshipmen outshot Drexel, 38-35.
