Navy Hockey Back in Action this Weekend!!!

The Navy Hockey (10-14-2) team is back in action this weekend as they take on ESCHL rival Drexel University Dragons (8-9-0) in a home and home series.

The first game is Friday night at 7:30 at Navy’s McMullen Ice Center. Then both team travel to Philadelphia to play at The UPENN Class of ‘23 Ice Rink.

The Dragons are led defensively by first year netminder #35 Daniel Pyne. During his short college career, he has been known to steal games and had a dazzling 64 save performance in a win at #3 Penn State on November 7, 2008. Offensively, the Dragons are led by #23 Alex Cohen (29 points in 17 games), #8 Zak Blazic (21 points) and #14 Tom Buklarewicz (19 points). Drexel is always dangerous and known to show up for big games.

Drexel currently has 6 points in the ESCHL and occupy fourth place while Navy has only one point. Four of Drexel’s six points come from their previous wins over Navy earlier this season.

There will be no Navy broadcast of the game on Saturday but the Navy faithful can list to the Drexel broadcast of the game. Tune in at 7:50 for the pre-game show and face-off is scheduled for 8 PM. Just go  and click on "Listen Live".
